The 14500 then I will do as an own project when I ever should find time to do so. So its not that important right now.

Yesterday I took a flat headed screwdriver to fix the lens. I accidentally screwed it in too far (there was not a lot of force needed), with the result that I could not focus it anymore to infinity. I then decided to screw it out all the way to inspect it. I then found that there was not a single lens loose, but the lens-system (or how to call this optical package?) was loose due to some tolerances in the threading. Then on the side of the waterproof flat glass I found some of the white stuff (its kind of soft glue, its purpose is to hold the lens system in the factory adjusted focus place; at least I think so ). Apparently it was a bit too less of this stuff, so the optics loosened itself.

Now I just screwed it in to the right position hoping it will be ok. Otherwise I will use some glue myself later on. I am quite satisfyed with the result now, because its OK, and because if its not OK I can fix it anyways easily....

Thanks.

Semi-stupid question: It's the brighter of the two in your pictures of the beam and dot, correct?

Yep it is (the brighter dot, not a stupid question). :D
It only looks significantly briter on camera. In person,.... the visibility difference isn't much more than a 200mW bluray.
But it burns really well, and a waterproof 400mW bluray for around $100 is a relatively good deal.
Also, I have verified that this model will survive deeper than a standard Rayfoss waterproof.

This was a good review! I am considering getting one. I have a couple of questions. Is O-like similar to optotronics? Are they related? Also what gets my attention is the water proof. When i vacate i like to scuba dive and i was wondering which lasers are water proof, strong enough to burn things but survive depth in water?

got mine last week, but they didnt send a battery ><. Susie already sent one out. I got the graphite one and it looks awesome. Mine didnt come with a fancy case like yours though. It just came in a bubble bag already in the holster that comes with it. Can't wait to actually use it.

Burning power? Very good?

If mine was as good as his, I'd say it was pretty good. Pop dark balloons at ~8 feet, burn through paper and electrical tape, light fireworks from a few feet away. You won't be starting fires or candles, but if you've got a dumb enough friend, you can certainly make them yelp at a distance.

Wrong thing sorry but how about 250 me will that hurt too?

I suppose it would, if you had it focused and/or left it on the same spot long enough. Of course, that's not the intended use and I can't be held responsible if you scar yourself or something. Just sayin'.
