Usually once DX ships from their warehouse it arrives in the northeast US in around a week, i look forward to seeing some reviews of this laser
For $50, and it's a red laser (No more IR worries), I doubt it'll be a huge disappointment. I think as long as it burns matches and pops balloons fast, people will probably go crazy for this thing since it's so cheap. I'll order one if it has a stable output of 150mW+

Also to grn, if you get the laser but know batteries it is still easy to power it up, get a 4aa holder from radioshack or almost any electronics store. Get alligator clips and then simply clip the negative onto the case and the postivie onto the contact in the front (that one could be tricky but just taping it there would probably provide enough contact). It wont look as nice but it will provide the exact same power that those two batteries would... and batteries would last longer.

a ton of people have ordered them so within a week or so we should have some proof of weather or not these lasers are legit/ worth the money
