I'm familiar with relative brightness, divergence, etc., but am interested on a far more subjective level: what type of laser do you personally think looks most impressive when shone into the sky at night?
thats one of the things i want to build is a 1W 532nm laser then mix it with a 2W 635nm laser and get a very nice sweet yellow only 3W but would be super bright at night.
A literal ray of sunlight!
I personally like the green beam ...! >_<
Last night i was using my laser, (its a 100mw green laser), (im not showning off guys... Im just a noob ): since its my first laser .. But i learn fast lol) i was able to see the beam easily and its brightness, when i suddenly hear ... Omg ! Wow ! Look the light ! And i was like... OUU YEA!... Hehehe ( i live in a appartment soo.. Yea) it was a good experience (; i feelt like the boss lol hahahaha at least it was the common 5 mw green or red laser ...(; so yea !.. Here i am sharing a little experience with my first laser ...( REALLY OFF TOPIC !!! DAMM!) hehe anyway !... Have a good one
I was in a mountain setting, and several times when shining my 2W 445nm into the sky or a far of cliff a few seconds, upon turning it off a voice from out in the dark would ask to see it again! So, yeah... 445nm can be very impressive!
