This is for the innocent vessels, not the Navy. Remember, it somehow became illegal for an honest merchant vessel to keep arms for self-protection... there was much discussion about this when that Somali-captured cargo Captain came home.

ok ok......a quote from the end of the article.

Seriously? Are they trying to market a laser dazzler vs AK-47's and RPG's?
I bet you can mount a .50 machine gun on your boat for the same price as this laser too...
