And at 543.5nm. Can't say I'm too familiar with this wavelength.

Some say its emerald--or.. not as harsh as a green pointer. ..(its like Ben sez)..........................................................................................................................................tight beam, clean thin. little or no scatter...the beamspot is round,,,the tube gets warm but does not overheat..no batteries, fans, heatsinks, TECs etc needed.. .......................................................................................................................................... For Sale 543nm Melles Griot laser made in 1993- sold to me as low hours but actual unknown. cold puts out 1.77 mWs -closer to 2.0 warmed up(SPER LPM) model LGR-173-277 Class II with matching PS...200$ shipped free to US and Canada.................................................................................................................................................................................Nicer still--a REO (543nm) LHGR 0050M NS Labled .5Mw,, Cold= 2.27 Mw, WARM+ 2.39Mw... Hmm nice collection hz. will you be posting these in the BST with pics?

When I complete it, the people I bought them from will have a pot of gold. Just like the story.

Sorry but your post is SO difficult to read lol, also those he-ne's are beautiful! I may have to add a cheap little red one to my collection soon :) Is it expensive to get these shipped to the UK? Since mainly you guys in the US have them :)

Try REO, ask them if they have any off spec or overruns.

A yellow hene is actually more of a orangish golden color. A camera can never do it justice.

mainly used as surgical aiming lasers.

HeNe's are too bulky for my liking :(

Crazy. I'm local to REO - Just figured that out. Gave it a shot, emailed them -- have never really had something like that work but, maybe I'll get lucky.

They do seem to have two models of 612nm cylindrical laser heads...
