You wont be able to find a cheap yellow but making your own is def a cheap option check out this link telling you exactly how to make a bright yellow lp.

So what you meant to say was "these forums are not helpful IN MY OPINION".. because my statement was neither untrue or unhelpful if you're talking about actual yellow lasers, which is what the OP meant I think. Stating opinion as fact is never a good idea..

Oh, and I humbly apologize for my post not meeting your expectations. I was very concerned about that.

This thread was a laugh, I saw the title and just went "oh fail"

Mike there was nothing wrong with his reply, get off everyones back. And insulting the forums "helpfulness" is a great way to get along with everyone [/sarcasm].

If the OP had done a few SIMPLE searches he would not have needed to post this, why waist our time with replies if the OP can't be bothered to search? He would of come across Jayrobs post searching Yellow laser, it's the fourth link down.

I've never been one to beat a dead horse but... I am surprised that I am the only one that caught this guy being contradictory.... it's 6 times more than the op asked. (yes i know 50 bucks is dreaming) but for somebody to call the rest of the forums a joke...

You can get a nice one for about 300 or you can do this

DJNY, I wouldnt be so quick to call it spam. they are showing blue 50mw for 30 bucks. but i couldn't find the specs, or more accurately the wave length. im going to email them. i'll post my results here.

Whether it's a good deal or not, it's still spam.

Edit: Also, you can pretty much bet your left testicle that the so called "50mW of blue" is 405nm.

If you want a cheap yellow laser, just buy the cheapest, lowest powered laser you can find on the DX site. Then spray paint it yellow !!!!:crackup::crackup::crackup:
