the Kenometer Lite did not stock come with a Zero offset since the price was so low. It is a simple matter of adding a potentiometer with a few resistors on the output to offset the reading down to Zero. Unless you pay for the upgrade (takes me more time to build and for parts) the Zero offset is not included.

If you would like to find out how to do the offset so that you can do it yourself, I would be happy to provide the information.

Also, if you would like your meter shipped with the aluminum enclosure, I will be more than happy to send the enclosure and you can do the cutouts and modification to the enclosure to make the meter fit. Lazer has agreed that I will assemble the electronics portion and ship the enclosure unmodified and he will mount the electronics into the enclosure. This saves me the work of having to modify an enclosure that I wouldn't have ordinarily used for the meters but he wanted. It also means his meter will ship a little sooner since I don't need to do the modification to the enclosure.

Here is a picture of what it would look like assembled.

don't even ask for the top one's enclosure. That was too small and had to have waaay too much modification done to it to make it fit..... soo much so, that the front left side doesn't even have a screw holding it closed... Had to cut the screw recepticle off in order to fit the head inside.

Those are just for the people who wanted something special right?

Uhh no, it's for all the orders. I know you've got one and something special but I havn't been able to dig it up yet. Maybe you can refresh my memory without making me look through 300 pm's hehehehe. plus your transaction #

I really wish there were folders that you could make in your inbox so you can sort your pm's by relevance.

Whoa! NVM i just figured out how to do that! Wow, that's gonna make my life easier.

Hey Kenom...
have you figured out the Zero Offset circuit yet...
I sent you a PM yesterday but I haven't received a response to date...
I know you're busy assembling your orders...
I tried the latest circuit that you described in your PM but it dosen't
have any effect on the Kenometer Lite's reading...:cryyy:

;)well, laserbee is curious because I've got a few orders that I have to do that specific mod and at this point, I've got no clue how to do it...:whistle::whistle:

The gentleman who designed the circuit for the offset is using a power supply to provide his power for the panel meter and his thermopile. I however am using a dc/dc converter (micro size it plz) and cannot do the exact same thing he's done. He is on dial up and every attempt I've made and conveying to him the schematic I'm using has ultimately met with failure as he just cannot access the pictures over dialup. (smaller resolution pictures that he could recieve do not convey the detail he needs) It'll get worked out eventually Jerry. The instant I know, YOU'LL know.

Anyway, as those that are constantly monitoring the spreadsheet, I'm making good progress on assembling and shipping these meters out. Please just a little more patience. ;)
