Its a different world over in Asia, and what rights companies have and can utilize. I like this quote from their about us section; quote; "You can buy quality products and enjoy god's service "

How is your pocket at the Customs? Any news? :)

No news yet, usually i get a document in the mail with-in two business days. Tracking shows "the shipment is in preparation for customs clearance", i guess their doing the standard checks. Will post back when tracking updates

O and Nexgen, how is your 493 pocket doing 120mw, is it a custom? PM me :D

My Pocket 488 just arrived in Jersey City. I should have it Monday or Tuesday

Good luck with your new 488nm laser, Bruce. + Rep.

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

Hi All:

My Sanwu 488 nm G7 Pocket Laser arrived late Thursday, and I’d like to make it the subject of my first LPF review. I apologize for the less than stellar photo quality. I used my iPhone 5S camera, as I had trouble setting up my Canon T3/1100B. They're not the best image quality, but the color is pretty accurate. I'm sure the next review will have the HD imaging that this laser deserves.

It arrived sealed in a Static Shielding Bag which was packaged inside two additional padded shipping bags. The host was pristine and, like all Sanwu Pocket Lasers, is made from virtually seamless stainless steel. The laser’s recorded wavelength, as measured by Sanwu, is 488 nm.

Freshly charged EBL 10440 3.7 V 350 mAh Li-ion batteries were used for all tests and measurements.

The beam is bright with tight collimation, and the spot is a clean circle. Its color is gorgeous sky blue, without any trace of green. It is clearly visible indoors, even with the interior lighting on.

Optical Power was measured by a Lasersbee AX3 LPM over 45 second periods in order to remain within the laser’s recommended duty cycle. Peak Power measurements averaged 47 mW using the factory installed G7 lens that I requested. The laser felt a little warm at the end of each 45 second period, but never hot to the touch.

Overall I’m impressed with this very nice addition to Sanwu’s Pocket Laser series. As many of you have already stated, this WL is particularly beautiful and unique, and I’m very happy to add it to my laser collection. Thank you for your time and interest. Please Be Well and Take Care. :D

Looks great! You might want to make a thread in the review section on it, since it’s a newer diode.

Thanks for the review, +rep.

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

That was a very good first review, cyberdoc. Remember that the host is made out of steel, which has very poor thermal conductivity. If it feels warm on the outside, you can bet it is hot inside. I can only imagine what is used to heat sink the diode, but whatever it is, it can't be much mass. These diodes tend to run hot because the forward voltage is high. At 47 mW it is likely being driven ~150 mA. Keep this in mind as I wouldn't want you to lose the diode to running too long. :thanks: + Rep.

My Guardian came as well, and boy I love it so much. Unfortunately mine came without a sticker.

With temp edit to make the color look as real as possible:

Edit: I just noticed on the static shielding bag it says 488nm so maybe that's it.

 Awesome host and photos, I thought of getting one, built the diode into a C6 instead.

The price for the 488nm guardian was $130 for 1 or 2 days, and then was upped to $180 before the price was supposed to increase. Did you end up paying the $130?
