Yobresal

Re: Yobresal yeah he's a great something

Ding dong, the Nooby is banned:D

Sorry, just can't feel any sympathy for a guy who behaves like this guy has.

Re: Yobresal yeah he's a great something

I don't blame you.

If he is in the "right" there are more than enough calm, conservative avenues (provided for us by our glorious nation of laws and not to mention common courtesy) to pursue.

Re: Yobresal yeah he's a great something

I really am trying to help this person but I am being met with nothing but hostility.

The guy is a raving lunatic that got himself banned
because he can't control his own idiotic outbursts...

I wonder if maybe he retired from perhaps the USPS
just before he bought a rifle.....

LOL!!!!!! Awesome!:D:na:

Thanks:D

You know what's funny. I metered the Arctic I got recently, and it's actually pretty close to spec. I was expecting it to put out 700-800mW max, but it hit 928mW, and stayed at >900mW for five minutes.

The insides have been fiddled with a bit, but it is a stock arctic, with no part upgrades.

I think these guys already covered the hypothetical scenario though. I just wish they hadn't given away the secret:shhh:

Could you imagine this guy if he had been one of the first to order an arctic?

Lol, he would have gone on a shooting rampage right now.

Yobresal / Luke,

Please forgive me for offering advice, because I know that you are HUGELY more experienced and smart than I am in this game. And, I've been very happy with what I've bought from you, and I was happy to try to return the favor a few weeks ago, so I only suggest with respect.

That said...

When you sell a lot of stuff on the Internet (eBay, LPF, whatever), you always have the chance of tangling with people who have a few screws loose. It can just happen, like random violence.

I used to be a big seller on eBay (before eBay turned into a seller hell-hole, and I stopped selling there). Back in those days, I always bought insurance, and just factored the cost of that insurance into the sales price. It protected me from "misunderstandings".

Nooby is a nut case, because you CLEARLY advertise that you do not buy insurance, and it is the buyers risk. However, that did made me hesitate the first time I bought from you (which I did anyway, because of your reputation).

Just something to consider (and, other sellers here as well). There may be a benefit in requiring insurance, and factoring that into the price.

I recently bought something from Lazeerer, and he made me go to the Post Office to sign for it. It was a little annoying, but I understood where he was coming from, and I thought that it was not really such a bad idea.

Re: Yobresal yeah he's a great something

Thats for your advice. I take it seriously and appreciate hearing from someone with similar situations. This is a first for me. I will send a replacement to this person, I would just like to at least give the package a couple weeks to land somewhere first. I have not even been given a chance to communicate with this individual aside from reading his irate posts and a recent email notifying me of an investigation he is starting tomorrow. It's as if he could care less about the laser and simply wants to harm me. He has made me feel like a real piece of shit the last couple days and I wish he would just have patients.

I know these are hollow words, but don't let it get to you... you have the support of the entire forum for a reason. Just saying.

You're a better person than I am. What he is doing is nothing short of harassment/being an asshole and I'd flat out tell him to go eff himself if I were you.

That's really nice of you to do. I'm with mfo on this. I would tell him to f off, and wait for a few weeks. Pretty sure even post office will tell him to just wait a while.

Going on a tirade with posts, threats, starting an investigation (after less than 10 days!) and generally behaving the way he has is pretty pathetic and indicative of his own shortcomings imho. Don't feel anything for or because of this retard.

Re: Yobresal yeah he's a great something

If I recall correctly, doesn't usps have up to $100 auto-insurance coverage on all priority packages? They used to. And should be no issues with a claim given the delivery confirmation.

And I would make that little !@#$% wait out the claim process for sure, given so much grief in such a short time without any of the facts. For sure if you sell to the public, you will have these issues and these "kinds" of people to deal with from time to time.

Always best to adjust your prices to include any extra insurance needed for everyone's protection and stops alot of mis-understandings and removes the ammo for the more "challenged" people you end up dealing with.

Hey Yob....
That's pure BS.... An investigation with his Mommy
perhaps...
He has no grounds for an investigation with anyone...

You are covered....
You have all the proof you need supplied by USPS
itself (by Barcode Scanning) that you handed over
a package to the USPS and paid for it and they even
tracked (using those barcode scanners) it to RENO.

You are in the clear as to any investigation or Mail
Fraud.

As I posted before... I would contact USPS to find
out the options available to you since a Delivery
Confirmation Service is included with the Package.

I would request paper work/E-Mail from the USPS
stating that they did indeed lose the package so
that you can inform your buyer of the fact.

I would wait a least 30-45 days before making
ANY restitution or deals with the Buyer... Make
sure that the USPS classified the package as LOST
(on paper... not by phone)

The guy (nooby) is a lunatic and will probably have
a heart attack by his own generated frustration of
not getting his lollipop when HE wants it.

Patience Yob..... you are in the clear... You've done
nothing wrong...
