WTB: Parabolic Heatsink: Requires CNC

Hey everyone. So I have a project that some of you may have found out about through that other WTB thread I have up about the efficient diodes. However, this is a slightly more odd request.

I have a host that I need a heatsink for. Normally, I would make the heatsink myself. However, in this case, the interior of the head is conically and parabolically shaped (i.e. it is a curved cone, much like a semi-ellipsoid). This would be nearly impossible to get a great fit on a manual lathe, and I need the heatsink here to make good thermal contact with the body. So, I am going to outsource it.

Is anyone who has access to a CNC machine capable of doing such cuts? I am not even sure if it's possible, to be honest . But I figured I would ask here before contracting out to the head machinist here at ASU (he is a bit of a stickler for no commercial uses -.- ).

PM me or post here!

Maybe it is easier to flattened out the host and the sink. To match two parabolical surfaces is nearly impossible.

That was my initial thought Blord, but unfortunately, the outside of the host is actually curved as well, so I can't really bore out the inside to make it flat :(

How thick is the head in the curved area's?
Would it be possible to cut like flat steps in the host and make a heatsink to fit?

Yeah, I was just thinking that... I may be forced to do that, unfortunately. :\
