Good to know. I may set mine to 2.2 amps, but I wouldn't want to push it so hard it had a short life. I hope that's enough to get a shift in the wavelength.
 





I think rhd pushed his to 478nm. What happened to rhd anyways?
 
I have an 80mW 532 from Podo arriving in a few days, just to toy around with before I find the high powered builds I'm looking for.

What's news in glasses these days? I sold all mine and it isn't a huge issue for this one, but since I do have a cat now and my girlfriend has never seen lasers like this, I want to be sure that no damage is done.

Should I be worried about IR at all?
 
The <80mW from Sanwu arrived today. It's okay. It looks like every other 5mW pen I've bought, but I do like the host! Nice feel for a cheap laser, that's for sure. I suppose I was hoping it was overspec a bit.

Anyway, it's done nothing but fuel my need for more, so this is a bump!

Still looking for high powered 520/532 builds and high power 445/450/462/465/473 builds! Let me know if you have anything.

Hey! If you're still thinking of getting a 7W NUBM44 I have one in a S4X host that I'd like to get rid of! I'll do $250(scratch that I'll do $220) if you are willing. I got the diode from Abarnette and the driver is an SXD set at 4.5A from DTR. It is the blank, all black S4x host and it also has a DTR G2 lens.

Great! I have an NDB7675 waiting for me to get off my dead @ss and build it. I've been contemplating what current to set the driver for. I've been told 2.4 amps is okay, but am leaning for 2.2 amps. as I don't want to lose it.
 
you most likely won't lose it at 2.4A. I have 2 running at 2.4A. There is a thread that show it working and red shifting up to IIRC 2.8A, but only with a specially build "edge driver".

Thanks. I may set it higher since you have never steered me wrong in the past. I have everything i need to build it, but was still thinking of the current issue. How much of a wavelength sift do you get at 2.4 amps?
