To me, these rods are not pink, rather a shade of violet in sunlight. Maybe you would call it pink? See a photo, below:

I have four of them, two have a tilt on each end in the same direction, of course. I am studying DPSS but the optics are not so easy to find a general guide for, I better just dig deeper into Sam's Laser FAQ and around the net. Some of this info is the same as gold, you have to sift through a lot of material to find it.

I received a "black doll" end piece with two flat dichroic mirrors in it which is used on one of those 600 dollar ND:YAG 1064, 1320, 532 nm multi-wavelength units (by changing heads) you can find cheap on ebay.
