I've been unable to find a solid 200mw laser module for a price under 200 dollars, so I hope it is! Good luck.

Edit: I should have added, prices are slowly coming down for higher power 532nm lasers and I see a lot of 200 mw non-pointer lasers listed on ebay from China for under 100 dollars, I just don't know which ones to believe.

This seller looks promising. 50-200mW 532's for either 18650 battery or AAA. I may build a 200mW pen too and follow Pmans tutorial to make it focusable. That would be pretty neat.

Just buy a 5$ fasttech module. What people STILL don't understand (for some reason) is that
a) false advertising is everywhere with chinese products
b) all those 532 modules are exactly the same.

You paying 60$ for that "200mW" module will get you nothing more than a 5$ 532 module, except less money in your wallet.

Wish I could find someone selling the larger modules for a reasonable price, if O-like makes a 500mw 532nm pointer for under 250, what would the module sell for? I haven't seen them.

So are you saying there is no difference in power output at all between a module advertised as 5mW or 200mW? Im confused.

You are all correct. I asked the seller not to send but they did anyways. I asked if the 200mW was for 532 only and it is not. It is for IR and 532.

I will have to return ship the module for a refund. Hope its not too much.
Does anyone know why it is so hard to find and buy an actual 200mW 532 module of good quality?
