I've previously heard some bad things about WL. But now, it seems as if Wicked is trying
to make a comeback from a bad reputation!! What's the real Deal? :wtf:

Yeah... it seems Wicked Lasers (Steve) has really been putting in an effort
to change the company's past bad reputation..

WL has CDRH certified (only) their new Laser lineup... whick makes them FDA
compliant... It seems that WL has worked toward this for about a year now...

As the Reviews of these new sample Lasers shows... they are way over spec..
I think there are definitely making a huge effort at a comeback...IMO..

WL owner Steve, sent out quite a few lasers to various members who have done reviews on the new 2010 line...

I was promised a Spyder III Pro Green (500mW) from the first. I was sent an Evolution Pro instead. (because the Sypder III's were not ready) Others have gotten Spyder I lasers to review.

Steve is still promising to send the Spyder III, but it has been over 6 weeks...

I hope to be reviewing the Spyder III Pro green, and from what I understand, so will others. Along with other wavelengths of WL's 'top of the line' lasers.

We shall see if he keeps his word...

I got promised the same thing too. It would seem odd that a company owner would promise something he can't do if he is trying to improve his company's rep, I mean he could have just said he was sending out Evo Pro's from the start. I giess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

As I posted elswhere, I got a BETA unit of the Spyder III 532nM for review. AWSOME......
I did find "maybe problem" and Steve confirmed it. The updated replacement is coming.
I'll miss that first one in spite of its "flaw".
This "flaw" will be described later after the review of the new one. Personally, the "flaw" was actually an asset to me but we will see later. That first one light up like a stick of dyno-mite!!!!

I am confident that more review units are coming, and I doubt most people realize how much product development work is going on at Wicked Lasers, (and perhaps also at other companies). I too, was told there would be another opportunity coming to review product(s) and as exciting as the prospect is, I can wait as long as it takes, I'm sure, it is in everyone's best interest, to hold back on speculation, and I am sure we are all anxious. Let's all see what tomorrow brings! -Glenn

I was told they should be ready in about 2 weeks. Still waiting for review models as well.
