Wicked Lasers Q & A

I accept your point of view if you say you'd verified their products and they sell "lies".

Guys guys,
I feel that everyone in this forum has a big problem with WL. It's fine by me! You don't need to yell any louder than that.
I must repeat myself: I'm not DEFENDING this company. I simply wished to share my "poor it seems" knowledge about WL: who is manufacturing their diodes and perhaps from where they buy their crappy shaders, THAT'S IT!

You asumed well Jerry, it's not a TROLL post.
Thanks.

Arthur

WL does not manufacture their own Laser Diodes... if that
is what you are saying...:yh:

Yes Jerry, that's what I'm trying to say: They probably manufature laser cases and those electronic controlled on/off switches and assemble all the pieces but the laser diodes are manufactured by CNI Lasers.
Of course, as InfinitusEquitas said, they might buy lower quality diodes as they get them cheaper from this big manufacturer, and thus they earn more profit / each laser sold... anyway.

Their earlier 445nm diodes were all harvested from projectors

I have not had any personal contact with them for awhile

I do not know if they negotiated another source later

Peace,
dave

I very highly doubt that they buy anything from CNI with the possible exception of the green modules. Certainly NOT the 405/445 diodes.

CNI DOES NOT MANUFACTURE LASER DIODES as been said already.

Provides is NOT the same as manufactures.
They act as a middleman for bare diode sales
They do NOT "make" them
They "sell" them

Peace,
dave
