I am curious about a couple of things. I did not know that Wicked Lasers made this. I know this may sound stupid, but other than as a collector's item, what is the point of controlling a laser via a smart phone? Also, I thought they would not sell to the US?

Novelty. Nothing more than novelty. TBH I think its pretty silly and I doubt I will ever even hook it up. But, if I ever had to sell the laser, its worth more with the add ons.
I have always had a weakness for the EVO even though I am not a big WL fan as many people are. Just love how unique this host is.

I purchased a bunch of stuff from different companies; Olike, Laserglow, Wicked Lasers and so on because I knew that they were going to stop shipping anything over 5mW to the USA.

I have another Evo with all those accessories if you or anybody else wants it.

I think it was because of a request by Steve Wozniak that they built in this feature, there's also supposed to be a secret Woz mode that does something.

Wicked Lasers were on the FDA import alert Import Alert 95-04 since 2010 but they were still getting through, I think it wasn't until the first of this year that they stopped shipping to the U.S.
