Just an update, my small 5mw lasers with seized by customs and are going to be destroyed. I changed the invoice and printed it with max output 1mw on it. They said it had to be BELOW 1mw. THIS SUCKS.
Means this laser also might not make it. I don't know if they have a way to test it or not. Said I might also pay a fine of $100-150. Don't know how I'll get this through.
Ultron, I don't seem to recall where you're from or if you mentioned it. Would you mind telling us?
Far.
Less than 1 milliwatt?! Wow, they must shoot on sight when someone has an LED flashlight.
Exactly. My WL replica never reached me as it was seized. I could sue and tell that they didn't test it and showed it was less than <1mw but I wouldn't win since it was 1W. Got refunded half as the seller said we both made a mistake, which is more than fine.
Gonna start building from now on.
Do you think customs has flagged your address? I know it can happen with businesses, but other I don't know how other countries do it.
Hmmm...I don't know. Maybe? They told me that they'll bill me a fine receipt and in the forms there were other people who had bought >1mw pointers.
I did get a labeled 5mw pointer directly at home tho. Guess I was just unlucky with that one. I don't think it should be a problem anymore, empty hosts and diodes arent restricted. If they do stop it, I'll definitely take legal action since modules p, lab lasers and diodes are not restricted by the law.
Also, the host was massive and looked amazing. PLE Pro + WL fusion in a 36cm beauty. Had a charger with that connects to it and powers it on without the batteries, that's what gave it away since it was massively bright.
 You can ask Rivem, it is very far.
