Why is no one talking about this? US pushing Russia/middle east towards war

Hey Trencheel,
I do not know if you have ever heard of the prog rock music group Marillion. There new cd is call F.E.A.R. which stands for F*ck Everybody And Run. It is about the state of the world. The first cut is 16 minutes long and is mainly about the refugee crisis in Syria and how the FEAR is creeping into everyone the way there world is going. But the last song, also 16 minutes, is The New Kings. It is about what you are talking about in this post about how your government (and ours in the US) sold out its people. The music is epic, but you should at least use Google to find and read the lyrics. If you do, let me know what you think because they are dead on!

As far as our election in the US, Hillary Clinton will win. I agree with most of what Trump talks about, but he is such an bombastic idiot I could not in good conscience vote for him. As far as Hillary she IS a crook.
The whole thing with her emails was such a white wash by our government it is beyond belief what she got away with it. I have voted for president in every election since 1976. When I vote this year I will not vote for anyone for President and leave that blank.

Actually I have a note 4 and my wife has an iphone so go figure since we are both the same on "it". Looking at some other studies there's conflicting information on it compared to the one I saw. Wasn't trying to derail, just thought it was funny.
Regardless of all that I'm sick of all the protests with violence and looting here in the states. Someone gets shot and regardless of circumstance there's an immediate uproar and it turns into something it shouldn't. How is that justified?
Yes there is ugly stuff going on all over the world and we know about it instantly with mass media devices everywhere. That's good and bad and the bad part is people immediately assume what they want which is generally whoever tells the story first or whoever makes the most noise. Making the most noise doesn't just mean someone yelling louder than someone else. Hurting innocent bystanders, wrecking cars and businesses, spraying bullets... it's not name calling. There is evil everywhere just waiting to explode.
I personally I do my best not to worry about about what's going to happen tomorrow it as each day has enough trouble of its own. Not going to let it paralyze me with fear. That does NOT mean I am indifferent to what is happening and the potential threats everywhere whether abroad or my own home. I refuse to allow it to control me and I'm not going to retreat inward and stop treating others with kindness and dignity helping those in need.

That is it! The lyrics to EL Dorado and The New Kings are really intense, as is the music that accompanying it. I got the Deluxe Edition which has a DVD of it in 5.1 surround and whoever did the mixing of it makes it sound very spacious when you sit in the middle at a good volume level.

Not all of my information is from his speeches. However, getting information from his speeches, from the horse's mouth direct, is far more reliable than doing what the majority of the public do and listening to news outlets who spin the news into what the general public need to hear to support western war and aggression. I have a feeling you haven't actually watched the clip I posted.

As for Russian people putting up with his regime, I think if you do your research you'll find that he's overwhelmingly backed over there. As for people being put away for opposing him, please show me. Apart from pussy riot, who acted appallingly in places of worship, I know of no such cases that warrant any merit.

The corruption in the U.S. doesn't come close to Putin's Russia. It seems to be up for debate during this highly polarizing election year, but that is because of the polarity, not corruption, per se.

What do you base that on?

Corruption takes many forms, some more visible than others. I suppose it's on average easier to bribe a cop in russia compared to america, which is very visible corruption. You perhaps donate some funds to the university a civil servants son is studying at to get a permit for something, a bit less visible but still quite obvious.

In the US you could perhaps do something like make a sizeable donation to the republican party and hope they'll hold back some environmental legislation that would hinder your business. Oh darn, that's actually quite obvious as well.


You could argue that a party has no obligation to do your will in exchange for the donation, but that applies to the russian cop too: He could steal your bribe, arrest you anyway, and slap on charges for trying to bribe him. Doing so would stop the bribes quickly, and his colleagues would probably put him in the line of (friendly...) fire. A political party that does not do what it's sponsors want has a similar problem: no funding next time, without which there is no chance to win elections.

The two major parties here have their own party platforms. People do lobby for benefits for themselves or in the case of groups like the Sierra Club, for everyone, as they see it, but no one person is supposed to be guaranteed to get quid pro quo. Depending on which party, or candidate in this election, there are all sorts of accusations floating around. Putin has taken all the privatized business and given it over to his cronies, people he has known and worked with in the Soviet Union. If you can't see the difference, you are too politically involved in this election yourself.

It wasn't so long ago that everyone was cheering for the Syrians for trying to kick their dictator out of the country and form their own government. Putin has gone into Syria to help the regime keep control of power there. Nobody here wants to have the U.S. involved in another protracted ground war like we had in Iraq and Afghanistan. But, I think it is up to the U.S. to continue to stand with our allies and, if need be, continue to provide air strikes to protect the people who have been the ultimate victims of this war, which has killed hundreds of thousands and displaced millions.

Islam is going through a MAJOR schism.



On one side your have "moderate/non-fundamentalist" Islamists that are not willing to be violent to support their "Religion"

On the other you have people willing to be violent.

In Spite of the non-violent Islamists being the "vast" majority they are completely hijacked by the violent ones.


IMHO, Islam is fundamentally and strictly a feudalist system (it includes both strict legal and governmental institutions) and once you question part of it the whole Islamic system collapses.

In reality the collapse of Islam has already begun. This was evidenced by the Arab spring and the push for what the west labeled "Democracy" and "Voting Rights" but was really a push against religious rule and Sharea.

The violent are getting more violent as they see the end coming, the fearful are fleeing the ME en-mass.



The real question are what will happen with the violent who use the fleeing to mask their movements.



Another good question is "Why aren't Arab countries taking any refugees?"

In short a Russia/ME war would just be a side effect of the rest of the world trying to contain Islamic Fundamentalism.



I predict regular successful (body count) terrorist attacks on the US at least monthly from now on.

It could very easily become weekly.
