Yeah, because of the pulsing action (I think) it produces a really cool striped effect in the tunnel. If you watch SenKat's 9mW Aurora BP video on Dragonlasers' youtube, you'll see what I mean. I can see how some people wouldn't like it, but I do.
 
Does the beam really come out as crooked as the second picture makes it seem?

No, it's only off by a very slight bit. It's not even noticeable, I never noticed until I took that picture, and even then Kenom had to point it out to me. But now that's all I notice >:(

I burned two incense cones I borrowed from a parental unit of the female persuasion. There was way too much smoke in the room, my eyes were watering like mad.
