Why does it have to be WICKED that comes up with cool hosts!?!

I've never been one for flash. I really enjoy durable-looking, elegant, and simplistic designs. This is one reason I stick with Thinkpads for laptops. I'd like to see a laser housing that's just a plain black round cylinder with the same coating they use on the tops of Thinkpads. If it needs extra cooling, a high quality fan inside the housing would be good. But please, no crazy heatsink blades that make it look like that ship from Star Trek Nemesis.
 





A Cnc machined arctic will be as durable as they get, but yes flashy, and shexy
 
DANG, I like these new Mini Concepts. I may have to place another order with WL.
I really like the Arctic but I have thought that it would be cooler if it was just a little bit smaller in length and diameter.

EPIC render, Pontiac! Though LED holes are a little small.

Say, how do you handle tailcap clicky and side slicky? It would be epic if you just leave 16mm hole in tailcap there, so we can install whatever we want there (I'd go for keyswitch lock), and hole for side clicky so people can choose actual clicky or momentary button...

That would be even more epic :D

Say, will they be anodized? If no, even more epic. Imagine aluminum shiny Arctic host. (easier to do, too)
 
Yep as I have already said, I have made a thread, and will be hosting the group buy , so go find the thread in the group buy section if you wanna get in on it!
 
My bad guys. Will ask Pontiac in PM, as it's minor technicalities, not related to actual group buy.

If he considers these questions for serious, then it's for group buy, to see if those can be made as "options".
 
I would hate to get lazed in the eye AND then continue to have my eye poked out by that host!!! :rolleyes:

Maybe if someone buys it, then sells it on ebay, I would buy it.

Buying it directly from wicked liars?! HELL NO!

I'm sure S.F., LAX, CHICAGO and the rest of the east coast customs agents would love to have them!
 
the look of the knurling is unique, being that it is not diamonds, but I think the host is actually rather simple.
