Wholesale 500MW Green Laser Pointer Torch with Key Switch

Do you have a laser power meter? A review of a laser from a new laser company would be kind of useless coming from someone without a power meter.

Of course,No problem!
All the previous comments only represent the past, Whether good or bad, the fact of today will bring you a surprise!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So is anyone going to buy that "500mW" laser. They can make it in a pen host as you can see here.

I say get this BS outta here.

There is more to worry about when buying a handheld that strong than just getting 500mW from it. I bet it would mode hop like crazy.

I'm sorry yotang, but having yourself (Obviously biased towards the quality of your lasers) posting a picture of one completely different model laser doesn't tell us anything. Since you obviously have no faith in having a laser tested by one of the members on here I would not buy a single laser from you and I would advise others not too as well.

You can send the laser and have it shipped back after a review. Just because someone reviews it does not mean they have to keep it. As yobresal said, wickedlasers does that all the time. Send a veteran on the forum a laser to test, or quit posting this crap!

These Chinese companies act stupid hoping to get us to think they are inept, but they know exactly what they are doing and it pisses me off.

Yotanglaser, please consider this (it's not a critic, just an information):

Measuring a laser, both with a thermopile sensor or with an optical sensor, there are some things to never do, if you want to measure the real power.

For any wavelenght, always keep the laser far at least 30 or more centimeters from the sensor, for avoid that the sensor measure also the heat produced from the laser.

With sensitive thermopiles, also more distance can be needed, they are so sensitive to false measures that just keeping your hand too close or blowing on them can give you totally wrong values ..... with photodetector sensors, instead, the sensor have to mount a broadband filter for flat the response curve for the different wavelenghts, or the meter must have a wavelenght selector, or also you need to multiply the reading for the correction factor of the sensor (cause the photoelectric sensors don't have a linear reading curve themselves).

Also, especially from green DPSS modules, always place an anti-IR filter in front of the laser, cause otherwise the reading is falsed from the infrared component that came out from the crystal assembly with the green beam.

If your meter can measure the same powers in this way, then you know that the powers that you measure are the real ones, and only in these ways.

I though we were talking about this laser China Wholesale 500MW Green Laser Pointer Torch with Key Switch | YoTang.com. It seems to show 510mw

It can seem to show whatever they want it to show with a single picture like that. It could all be IR and invisible. It could be a combination of 50mW of green and 450mW of 1064nm or 100mW of green and 400mW of 1064nm, there's really no way to tell with a picture like that. They need a video with a clearly visible IR filter in front of the beam with the laser further away than 1mm. It wouldn't hurt to put a obviously low powered laser on the meter to make sure it is zeroed like a scale should be either.

This shit needs to stop. At most, there ought to be a dedicated forum just for companies or whomever that want to pander their wares. However, as is, this BST section is not a free advertising forum for every two-bit company out of China that wants to sell their junk online. This forum is for members to buy, sell, and trade their stuff at a low level, like a craigslist. Hell, there's even a "Laser Pros" section for those who make a business of it.

Again, if these companies want to advertise, they can buy ad space on LPF.

Agreed.

You know all these reading are including IR, so its not really a deal to pay $400 for a 120mW laser. Yotang was garbage before, its garbage now.
