SO with it getting closer and closer to the 4th of July, and my initial post being " what are my options for a burning laser that can light fireworks, well now I have 2 lasers a red and a blue...Now I just need a focused 100W incandescent lightbulb and I'll have a patriotic firework light show.
At any rate heres the videos, the first is the red laser which is calculated at "125mw" based off stoneteks graph for the phr-805 at 300mA lighting a smoker from probably 6in away.
Next up is the quick rigged 445 from survival laser, with a DTR blue diode running at most likely 1W at pretty much 6in away also, and If you notice near the end my hand seem to get a little hot from some careless action on my part.
Also as a safety disclaimer the blue laser was shot with me wearing a pair of eagle safety glasses just because that thing is so darned bright, as for the red laser...I don't have any glasses for it yet.
