Did anybody on this forum feel this early this morning? It woke me up and it scared the crap out of me until I realized what it was, but I was 200 or so miles away from it. I know there are a few midwesterners here, so maybe I'm not alone ;D

There have been several since I have lived in TN. but I always seem to be oblivious to them. One even happened at work and a co-worker came running up to me and said did you feel that? I missed it!

I'm in Toledo, OH, which I guess is a little far away, but still pretty close for an earthquake :o

i live about 70 miles north of the epicenter in charleston, IL. it didn't wake me up though. (im a heavy sleeper) At about 10:15, there was an after shock that i felt at school.

what a strange day.

Funny thing is was that my teacher was telling me about earthquakes at that 10:15, yet I didn't feel the aftershock. I can't believe you slept through it though, you were pretty close to the epicenter!

Well this 5.2 was just a little taste of what's in the future, I just can't WAIT until New Madrid lets out its fury again ;D

Yes, I felt it. I woke up, half aleep, and began to wonder why my bed was shaking.
I wish I would have been more awake :'(
