Hi Everyone!

First off, just want to say, you guys have been a big help to me in the past! I'm looking to get 405, 460-488, 520-525, and 638 nm raw diodes rated from 500mW - 1+ W, and would like to get them in slightly higher volume than a 1-of.

I can see a lot of different Chinese suppliers who sell these diodes for about the same price as DTR (maybe a little more), but was wondering if anyone could share with me a few reliable suppliers for diodes that meet these wavelengths. Could you help point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I'd first ask DTR.

Unless you need 100+ diodes. Well, probably even then.

I still think DTR is your best bet if you want those wavelengths and powers. As he is on the forum, it doesn't hurt to drop in a message. He may be able to give you a quote or help you further.

I agree.
DTR is your best bet.
With DTR you know for sure new and tested diodes are what you are getting + his customer serice is excellent.

DTR all the way. Fast Shipping. Easy payment methods. Great communication. Data Sheets online with actual real world test results. Not sure what more you could ask for.

Are you not in the US? Just wondering as it sounds odd that you would want to know other suppliers that you said were the same or cost more. It's not like you couldn't buy more than one of each diode from him.
I have purchased diodes from some Chinese places but it always seems like a hassle to save a few bucks. Sometimes others here sell some diodes too and I've gone that way also but again, sometimes it turns into a hassle as people not in the business of selling all the time tend to mail things out on their schedule and don't always make it a priority.

i could help with the 480-505nm and 622nm.

These wavelength bands that you have stated are rare and expensive. How have you got hold of a 622nm and for how much. And what wavelengths do you own between 480-505? I know of 488,498 etc but again their expensive.

I have purchased a few diodes from him and he is more than helpful. I will continue to buy many diodes from him :D

Yes, can't fault DTR. Prices are good, quality is good. And his customer service is good. What more do you need. Most of my builds use DTR modules, as his driver included modules are electronically noob proof :D
