Which Gun should I get?

Okay guys sorry for the hiatus from this thread, I have been trying to not post much right now haha. I do not plan on carrying yet, I think it will be awhile before that happens. For right now I just wanted a range gun and a gun for my house in case le bad guys come for my family....or worse, my lasers.....I kid, I kid.

I just went out to the range yesterday and shot my friend's citadel 1911 .45 and also rented a S&W .40 MP. Put a lot of lead through each to see how I liked them. The .45 is a lot better feeling than the .40 caliber. So I ended up going to a couple gun distributors. I just couldn't get the Springfield out of my head as I was holding guns so I went ahead and bought it. I am now the proud owner of a Springfield Range Officer 1911.

In regards to the video suggestions, I have been watching A LOT of Hickok45. Kind of stumbled on him some time ago when looking for reviews. Did you know he is 6'8"?! That is nuts!

Excellent choice wanna. I love my 1911s. So accurage. The best trigger pull of any hand gun ever desiggned. There are lots of good reasons that a 100 year old design is still in WIDE use and there are a dozen manufactures now making them.

I forgot to mention I already own a shotgun I used to dove hunt some.

I own a G35 Gen4 and love it. It's considered their competition .40 (I am not a competition shooter). I want a 1911 I don't have one, I have a taurus PT101 which is another .40 but its nothing special. Either one you will be happy with.
