Anyone know where to buy high current springs that can handle at least 10A? If I could get on from China/HK that'd be great so I can save on shipping costs. I'm cheap. :p

ARG, don't get your hopes high. :na:

I'm building a battery holder for my RC. It's just a toy grade truck but it is very current hungry. I'm gonna be using four Samsung INR18650-20R/20Q in a 2S2P config.

I need springs! :)

If you can't find anything decent, you can add copper braid to both ends to support the high current.

Hmm. Nice idea! I have a lot of 3mm desoldering wick here that I could use. Thanks for the tip.

I think the motor draws around 15-20A or even more. I can't really test it because my multimeter maxes out.

I'm gonna go ahead and order those ordinary springs from FT and hope it doesn't desolder itself.

Here's some thicker springs:

Beware, untracked shipping is horrifically slow from this site.

Thanks for the link. I'll get the thickest spring and solder on a length of copper braid to ensure it can handke at least 10A.
