What you would do if you had 3000$ to spend in lasers?

I'd get a Power Meter W/ logging /w Backlight
RPL 425
Spartan 40mW Blue

Got about 1k$ left, I guess il get a laser of every wavelength possible with that minimal amount of money.
 





I'd get a 1 Watt CNI labby and a ScanPro20, then use the remaining cash to build up the scanner :)
 
buy a hundred dollar ebay laser and see if it can burn the other $2900 :D
 
I'd walk into a porn store and say "I"LL TAKE IT ALL" :D


but seriously now folks, I would get on DealExtreme and buy everything that tickles my fancy. Anything left is used to pay off the customs officers.


Or.... the Hercules 400 for $2989.

Get a good nova laser and send it to a good member of the forum so he can ultra mod it.
 
Fill the tanks of all my cars and bikes then buy a pizza with the remaining 40 bucks
 
I have one very special Prometheus unit averaging 500mW. I was gunna post a graph when I get the chance for y'all to see the insanity of this unit. In any case though, if you're looking to drop that type of cash this may be an option you want to PM me about   ;)


Someone above mentioned a 1W greenie with some galvos. You'd also need a DAC and software though so you might need to drop to a 500-800mW labby, but that would also be a pretty awesome option!
