What type off batteries can I use?

So I bought a my first laser a month ago it's 1 watt laser from geek the link is here.. https://www.wish.com/m/c/54c748eaf5b7bc193deb1d85 this laser is very powerful but I'm not sure if the output is truly 1W. Anyway my question is what kind of batteries can I use without ruining the laser?? Some of The batteries it came with have died already so I need some new ones. Also, how long can I run the laser without the diode burning up? I would like this laser to last a long time if possible.

you need to use the same size, and voltage battery. take your dead one out and look.

These Chinese laser usually operated at two 16340 cell. but I'd agree with what chipdouglas said. Take a look at the batteries that come with the laser. It should labeled the battery type.

The batteries have died, as in won't charge up?

Looks like it takes 2x 16340 lithium's, so a set of those would do you. Maybe avoid the cheapest of the cheap when it comes to batteries though.

No way to know what power that laser really is without putting it on the power meter. You do have safety glasses though, right?

Yes the laser came with glasses. When it's focused right then it will burn paper fast enough to write with it. So it's got to be quite powerful but it's the only laser I've ever had so I have nothing to compare it to.
