What really grinds your gear?

Items lasers or others that BS on the specs. And i don't mean
cheap fleabay lasers but electrical gear in general

Oh PS and Australian customs laws in general other countries have all the fun
we are a bunch of whimps about so many items other countries are allowed to have

LOL. HDMI to RCA??? Skipping a few steps, aren't they?

I hate it when:
[rant]
1. People who are really glutinous who are impatient when waiting for the double bacon cheese burger and shake and 2 orders of fries they are planning to solo. I am not saying everyone should be skinny, but if your thighs have thighs, and your fat hangs over the chair so it looks like you are hovering, stop eating so damn much.

2. People who order shakes where I work. Not their fault that making a shake where I work is the BIGGEST pain in the ass ever, but I am tired of it. I hate the way people say that they want a "chocolate shake". Then their eyes glaze over a little bit and I gain much contempt.

3. People who drive slowly. If you are not going to maintain the speed limit, take public transit.

4. People who are fake.

5. The time it takes to charge a 26650 battery.

6. Windows 8 operating system.

7. People.

[/rant for now]

What grinds my gear is that we live in a corrupt system which only benefits the wealthy while the poor loose more and more...

Edited to fit our situation here:

"What grinds my gear is that we live in a corrupt system which only benefits the poor while the average people suffer more and more... "

Capitalism, consumerism, and bureaucracy... inflation...

Rich people who throw away money on some useless sh*t (e.g. eating gold leaves) instead using the money wisely...

Politicians who sell away state land/hotels/companies while telling people (their nation) that they live in democracy...

The list is almost endless...

Also... do people realize it's taxpayers who end up paying for the destruction of PUBLIC property?

How about next time you turn over a corrupt mayor's personal car?

Or trash their mansion?

right now the thing that really plucks a nerve are the idiots who believe whatever the government says..... like stricter gun laws will stop criminals lol

Wonderful to see corporations contribute their fair share.

Also there is one thing missing from the breakdown.

BUREAUCRACY.

Working with federal government employees past few years has left me with the impression that easily at least 50% of the work down by our government is quite literally pushing paper. Another 20% justifying said paper pushing, and finally about 30% of actual work getting done.

It should not take a contracts expert, someone who is supposedly trained in their field, weeks, and sometimes months, to review a simple spreadsheet and slap together a contract that takes me a couple of hours to produce. Not to mention they are constantly away on training, vacation, or otherwise unavailable.

On the federal level, past few years, there has been a big push as part of Obama initiated strategic sourcing initiatives, to push out small businesses. The scope of what's going on is mind boggling, and it is a house of cards waiting to fall.

Drivers who never pass the damn semi but tailgate it so no one else can either unless you can find a mile stretch of highway and pass both the f*ckers at once.

^ It doesn't have to be a semi they do that to. I've passed two to three vehicles at once because they won't pass the person doing 40 in a 55.

Here's another one along those lines. When somebody is being too cautious and won't make a turn even though an approaching vehicles might be a mile away. I could've made that same turn a few times in the amount of time they sat there.

A couple more:
- The ones that stops at yield signs
- The ones that stop even if there isn't a stop or yield sign even though the oncoming traffic has a stop sign.

The news of the new Royal baby... how is that news ??? people have baby's every day !!!
