WHat OS do you use and why?

I currently use Vista 64 bit.  I haven't had a single problem with it and I question why people complained about it. :)
I also use Ubuntu......I know, I know, it is the computer illiterates form of Linux.  However, I do like it.

EDIT: I am running 2 computers at work. One of them has Windows 2000 and the other one is XP 64bit

I use XP - it may not be the best out there but it sure is much better than the version of Windows that preceded it.

On my desktop, I use XP SP2. It runs ok enough.

On my laptop, I have Vista 64-bit. It runs very well after I set it to disable driver signing at boot so I can actually have up-to-date drivers for my Mobility Radeon HD 2600. Before I disabled it, I was stuck with 1-2 year old drivers and it wouldn't display correctly on my plasma. But since then I have not had any problems with vista and I actually kind of like it (I DO NOT use the stupid gadget bar on the right with the clock and junk, lol)

**I actually had to download modified drivers for my video card for vista. It is modified desktop version drivers of the same card made to work with the mobility version and works flawlessly after getting rid of driver signing.

Macs are good.....They are like the Wicked Lasers of computers.  High quality, Over Priced, and Under spec.
^That's the best way of putting it that I've seen yet..

I use Windows XP 64-bit, Vista 64, Ubuntu/Debian, and Red Hat Enterprise Server. I also use BackTrack 3 which is a Slackware hacktool..

Windows Xp. It's just what was available at the time my family bought a computer.

Also thanks :) ;D

1. XP ... cuz its stable, proven and runs fast even on my 8yo PC
2. Mac OS-X "Hakintosh" ... cuz it just has style
3. SuSE 10.1 ... cuz it was the first and only distro compatible with my Laptop's video card

and i also have Vista 32 on the other pc under my desk. but i use him extremely rare, to play a game or to make cpu intensive renderings

I use Windows 7 on my main desktop
Windows XP on my main laptop
Ubuntu (Currently 7.04, soon 9.04) on my ultraportable laptop
Windows Vista x64 was my old OS and my brother's current OS
I have used OS X Leopard on this PC before (iAtkos), but will soon be getting a real mac and iPhone if all goes to plan!

I'm not sure if that's it. I PM'd Cold and he said that he didn't remove any posts of mine.

There are 2 missing. I dont how anything else could delete posts from the forum. C0ld is the only mod. Strange...

Actually, there are at the least 3 posts missing from here. robjdixon's post is missing as well.

It is strange.  I had 320 total posts at noon yesterday and when I got home from work last night, I had 317????  That is why I sent a PM to Cold.  Something weird happened yesterday. :-?
