What *NOT* to do with a Class IV Laser

I hope A chainsaw company sends him a sample and that will help thin him out of the herd. JUST KIDDING ... (not really)
Fools like this are making things worse for us all :(

Seriously, I don't know why they decided to send him a class IV laser with no prior instructions of use besides having goggles on. I cringed the most when he pointed the laser straight at his face to check if it was on. Even if you have goggles on there is still a risk if you get hit directly in the eyeball. Then he took his goggles off in a small room and looked at the dot without the goggles.

SMH if he got injured it would make a big negatives impact on the laser community 😧

Yeah, I came across this video a couple weeks back, I was secretly hoping the laser would damage his camera lens but I realized that he makes millions (can't remember the exact figure) every year, so he wouldn't really care about any monetary damage, and even with how irresponsible he is, I don't wish permanent eye damage upon anybody.

:crackup::crackup::crackup:

Agreed - never understood why this guy is so popular on YouTube.

As stated in the other thread, this guy's target audience is a bunch of kids. Of course he's going to act stupid, they think it's funny. He makes YouTube videos for a living, so he better understand how entertain 40 million kids.

Hi,
Don't do drugs it's not worth it as you can see. Tie this idiot down spread honey on him and add fire ants.

Rich:)

Lmao these comments! Better question would be how many years he had to wait to receive that arctic from wicked lasers?

To be fair, they sent me a Spyder for review when they first came out and it didn't take all that long to arrive. On the other hand, it was a pile of crap for the most part - the technology wasn't quite there yet to cram >700mW of 532nm into a portable effectively.

Hi H2o,
I feel sorry for us who know the safety of these units. Just imagine if 40 Million kids rushed out to buy a laser and wanted to copy this weirdo's antics. There goes out hobby down the tubes.

Rich:)

And 40 million kids' eyesight.

The problem is, he makes YouTube so much money that they'd never even think of taking down one of his videos, no matter how irresponsibly he acts. They'd probably bend the rules to any extent for him.

Yes your correct as they say money talks and BS walks as it goes. This guy read the operating instructions after the fact that's a poor start right there.

Rich:)
