Nah, it's a ThruNite Ti, the one with coated glass and nice reflector. Not bad for ~$15. I swapped out the XP-E emitter for a Nichia 219 I got from csshih, but I think CRI is a bit lower than normal when not driven to the max or beyond, like maybe ~90 or so. I wish I'd tested driver output before reassembling.

Guess it's time for an update. I've long since moved away from the cheap Chinese lights, and now love and use a Zebralight SC600W every day. I feel like this could be the last flashlight I ever buy. Easily fits in my pocket, nice color tone, and goes from <1 lumen to over 650 if I need.

Recently received the Nitecore EA8W, and Armytek Barracuda XMLU2. (Fantastic price for it, from IlluminationSupply right night.)

Ordered, and waiting on Crelant 7G10, Nitecore SRT7, and Zebralight SC600 II.

Considering ordering the Eagletac TX25C2, and will probably pre-order the Nitecore SRT3.

What's the appeal of the Microfire terminator HID? Seems it's been long surpassed by LED lights.

But yeah, I've been thinking about two lights there too, but my wallet just can't take the strain.
