What lights do you have?

Some pictures of my DRY. It is a triple XML T6 leds powered by 3x 18650 cells. I bought the bare host and made an impressive flashlight.

Who's your daddy? :D

I use Artic Silver Ceramique as heatsink paste. If it is good for i7-2600k@4.7 then it is good for this build :)

The black spot are not burnout's. It is the reflection of the external light source.

My new driver for DRY host came in today. It has 3 modes, high 2.5A/ low 1A/ strobe.
Much better use for indoor with longer runtime on low.
It is a buck driver. When I turn the voltage up, the current input will drop.

Old situation, with the diode voltage drop.

New sitution. I have to shave off few mm from the bolt. When everything is installed there is no space left in the driver area. :)

I have quite a few lights, but here are my two favorite looking ones.

Purple Incan Mini-Mag
Ultrafire C8. I swapped out the stock XR-E and replaced it with a warm white one.

My buddy and I used some NaOH on it to remove the bezel anodizing to give it a Foy bezel

We did a Maglite Build for my bro which you can see here

Foybezel: Mag Edition | BudgetLightForum.com

But my favorite lights as of late have been the Maglite XL200 and the 4sevens Preon 1. Two great lights in my opinion :)

So, you ended up paying for your "sample," eh? I still think it's a neat light, and might be useful as a replacement for those other right angle lights that GIs are familiar with.

When I was supposed to receive my sample lights Rolfis did not have the 1AA version. Will probably not do a review because I did not receive the sample lights. Rolfis Fail

erns, have you ever seen any of the supercap powered Lights for Life lights? I acquired one without a charger, and need/want to find a way to charge it. uc3.300, I believe.

Never saw or heard of these lights. Do you have link?

5.11 Tactical Light for Life LED Flashlight UC3.300, 200 Max Lumens - Knifecenter.com

It feels fairly cheap for being a $150 light, but it's neat that it is fully charged in 90 seconds.

Found a "charger" for it, but it's just a wall transformer, doesn't include the cradle for the light, and it's kinda pricy for a 12V transformer....

Also, just noticed this, i'll have to look for it in other lights, but I wonder if we can use the lack of distortion in the reflection of the reflection of the house in the 3rd picture as a way to tell in photos whether an smo reflector is well-made or not in terms of its parabolic function...
