What is everyone doing over Thanksgiving?

Yeah I heard of people being trampled in a stampede of greedy people to get things that won't even be there by the time they get there.

How stupid are people now days. Risking lives for small profit. Idiots. :(

I won't be shopping! Guaranteed, I don't need that junk..... besides, Walmart doesn't sell laser diodes. I might be out sky watching at night with my large astronomy binoculars.

I have never eaten Turkey before, ive seen Thanksgiving on American movies etc, but i dont understand it? can someone fill me in where It Originated, what its about and the date etc? it rather you guys tell me than a google search

When the settlers came to "america" the native americans (indians) showed them how to work the land so they would have feasts with various foods grown after the harvest and the animals around to show their thanks. That was before "the white devil" took over completely.

Turkey is kinda like chicken in texture but it has a different taste to it. Very lean meat too and it's larger. Ugly ass bird though lol

Just watched the video,
well i learnt something today!
Im curious to try some Turkey now, I like chicken and Duck so i should like Turkey!

Make sure you know that Thanksgiving is not thanking the Indians. It's for thanking God. That's how it originated.

Looked at some of the pre black Friday sales that not many know of and some of the deals are better than the actual deals on the big shopping day itself. The PS4 is $50 off at Walmart and I might go for it :p

Have had every PlayStation so far except for the PS4. I am just hoping the crowds won't be so big.

Edit: never mind, found it for sale online :)

When I worked at Walmart I had a choice of working Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, and New Years Day OR working Black Friday.... I picked the first choice and never regretted it. One thing ol' wamlart doesn't let out is that they will not pay overtime and you must work until management says you can leave. The result is they make you stay late and then at the end of the week burn off accrued hours by taking long unpaid lunches. It was normal for me to burn about 8hrs/week this way during holiday season.

Anyway I just plan to try to eat as much turkey, sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce as I can while not gaining back all the weight I lost the past few months, lol. Doubt it will work. >.<

Love my PS4. You would not be disappointed at all.

Going away starting Sunday for a week for 25th wedding anniversary about 5.5 hours away in Lake Placid and will actually cook thanksgiving dinner in our suite. Our newly married daughter and son in law live only about 1 hour away from Lake Placid so will join us for thanksgiving:)

Ill probably do dinner at my grandmas then bed soon after. Apparently my shop decided to have a tire sale on black Friday even though we lost a bunch of money last time we tried that so I don't see the point. So ill be up at 3am to help open up the shop and then sit around not making money until the normal people wake up (not a super busy shop esp. around the holidays)
