What do you guys use your lasers for?

I use lasers in whatever way I can to make money from poor unsuspecting members of the public on the internet. My latest money spinner is a cigarette lighter. I love lasers for the wow factor, despite the dangers of doing so. I have never heard of anyone getting injured with a laser and if they do it's ok because ROG doesn't place warnings on his videos.

Ka-ching ka-ching, oh look another 100 comments on youtube. :)

Gotta go, have to visit my blind son in hospital.

There's always some idiot out to ruin it for everyone. Hey, mate, we've already hit rock bottom. 1.1mW devices being confiscated, what more could you ask for.

I know. I feel that just as I started my laser hobby two things have happened.

1. High powered lasers are more readily available.
2. Public perceptions of lasers is turning negative due to #1 getting in to the wrong hands.

The proverbial double edged-sword...

Quite literally double edged when that moron finds out what a GGW is.

Say goodbye to wimpy PHRs and say hello to retinas cut in half by 200+mW of violet.

I guess the last straw for the FDA will be the Arctic. It's only a matter of time before more countries start cracking down on high powered lasers.

It's also only a matter of time before laser components get banned. Thankfully most of those who'd do stupid things with a laser can't put one together.

Really? They don't need to be capable of putting one together do they? Not when you can buy the whole pen assembled...

Thankfully, not in Australia they can't. I've been trying to buy a decent laser pointer and they've all vaporized into thin air. Near damn impossible to find at your local dollar store now.

You can buy a green pen, but it's the $99.99 one from Jaycar. And I doubt anyone would pay that much for 1mW of red and green.

That's possibly the worst $/mW ratio I've seen so far.
 
i just get an orgasm when i shine high power lasers in the sky, i never burn anything... the laser is an extension of my arm. its a full body high
 
If your laser is an extension of your arm, you'd better remember to turn it off BEFORE you take a leak !!! LOL------------------

Its not to hard to get high powered lasers into Australia.

I have 3 WL pointers (100mW +), all made it through, and 'laser pointer" was on the custom declare form, lol.

And the jaycar green, god that made me laugh, I brought one for the hell, a while ago. now I use the pen my phr build. :)
