What can this laser do?

My knowledge in the surrounding area of lasers is weak, but with your help I think I might just become a pro.

So back on topic. My main aim to this thread is to learn a bit more about the laser to which I've just bought.

Can you just give me an insight to how powerful this is and whether I've been ripped off. Bought it for £15.

Depens 30 mW for 15 pound is way to much money , but that means it's probably doing 30mW or MORE !

30mW is not impressive but makes a nice brigh beam and dot

Yes, unless it's way overspec. 50mW+ can pop balloons.
