Welcome, Boblasers !!!

Just purchased a Sample from BobLaser, 150mw green, BGP-0016.  $150.00 plus shipping.  They look like good units and I think many companies buy wholesale from them to re-sell, HIGHLY marked up.. Has anyone else done a "BOB"?  I will report back when it arrives.
 





they are selling "blue crystals" from what the diagram shows you jus place the YAG and then BiBo and then a collimating lens in the path of a red diode and u get blue?... sounds a lil too easy to me? can sumone explain this for me? and how much would these crystals cost anyway??
 
BAD idea. You have no idea how difficult it is to get a crystal set to perform until you try.
By the way, 808nm is infrared, not red.
And BiBO crystals would be abominably expensive. Think $2000 for one tiny little piece of crystal.
 
hello dear folk

who have good expierience with bobs lasers?

i have get to germany 2 ones of the big silver handshells.
200mv and 400mv.

and both have many probs:/
the 400mv now never work.
my client says after 2minutes of work he see a red light in the angle of the beam.
now i must give my client money back complete and bob will that i send it back,to he can look wahts happend...

ive got 2 green lasers from Boblasers 150mw and 50mw, and incoming 200mw.. their product was totally consistent in quality, i have nothing to loose with their great laser product in good pricing. you try Boblasers then you dont have to worry about. ;D

Until you measure the power output... ::)
 
ok if thats what you think , then prove the power output of Boblaser lasers, if you figure out and proof ou the results, then you can say "JUNK"!
 
Boblaser is not affiliated with damn Wicked lasers who sell so much priced lasers, also they are not with CNI, Boblasers was a private manufacturer of laser pointers and DPSS modules. i already tried them their guarranteed the product quality, they sent me videos before they send me the actual item...

I don't have to prove it...lol. DDL did a test on one of the lasers and the laser he tested was a piece of crap. I can't find the review but it is around here somewhere... :P

If you can, take your lasers to a university and have them tested for power output.
 
so what would be the real power of my 150mw green BGP-0016 from Boblasers? do you have an idea, we have no laser meter in our place...
 
Hey, just let the guy have a chance to review some products. We shall all see for sure what Boblaser is all about, if they even give up some samples. If they are willing to have some lasers reviewed, that alone will mean something. Perhaps an amateur does their advertising, perhaps they have good customer service and products. Who knows until someone deals with them? Like I’ve said before, I won’t be the guinea pig! I have the benefit of the doubt…that they are just another scamming re-seller! ;D J/k. It is too bad that there are so many of them out there, but for the legit real companies, must always earn their reputation.
 
Here is what i posted in the other thread as well-

I have purchased from bob lasers before, their products are not that good. I had purchased 10x100mW. Turns out they are all in the range of 50-55mW. Very dissapointed. This was used with a thoram optics measurer which cost me $1200 when i purchased it. I tried to refund and they were having none of it, saying 'we test product, all good'. Luckily i was able to sell them on at a small loss. Tip: AVOID

You will not get 150mW, i have tested the power output, no where near, not even at peak. So to the person saying the quality is good etc then your standards are very low and you are getting ripped off, oh and i hope you wear safey glasses as these things are super dangerous with the amount of IR coming from them.
