warnlaser 7w anyone remember ?

My recollection is that at one time warnlaser made a full 7w (not 700mw).
can you confirm this?

Your recollection is highly faulted.
Warnlaser never had a 7Watt laser.

There is a spectra physics 7Watt Argon laser on eBay right now:

I think a 7W anything, especially handheld, would be a big topic on these forums, and that everyone would know about it.. Or at least heard about it. Meaning that, I doubt it happened.
