i stumbled on some very useful (for me) (and i hope others) videos on basic electronic theory and application. they are basic, but gave me insight on power supplies, transformers and diodes. afrotechmods is the author and there are several videos

I've been glued to allaboutcircuits.com lately. I've wanted to learn this stuff for years, but lack a decent background in math past algebra. This site has helped me so much already, and I am only on Ch. 3! I fully plan on completing the entire course.
