Huge VLC fan, plays anything, no extra codecs needed, plays broken files better than anything else, and it even has transcoding options for converting anything to ipod format or whatever.

My parents actually thought my sisters computer was broken that i had configured for her. IT DOESN'T PLAY DVD's.

Installed VLC and everything was fine :) VLC is the best

yeah it always works, i've never had it fail me once

its amazingly fast too, the complete opposite of bloated software.. VLC flies

I use VLC on PCs and Macs. It's nice to have software that plays all the video formats without having to find codecs and is cross platform.

I always liked BSPlayer better, filters work better, more customizable. But VLC is great for quick FLAC playing.

I can't believe it was on beta for all these years (take that, Google :p)

VLC for playing and Super for converting, makes everything you need.

For those interested in video converting, SUPER is the solution to all needs.
