I'm wondering if I should turn the pot up a little, the guy said it can do 20mw but he's set it at 5mw to prolong the life of the diode.. :-/

It isn't worth it ! you have a FINE model there and I would keep it how it is. If you get another one, then consider playing with that one. Also, this one is special to you, you wouldn't want to break it 8-)

Right guys and gals if TL vanishes for a few weeks or forever we know why now, and in Lazergirls defence it was perfectly justified if the police ask us any questions (;

I am ASSUMING the boat race in question would be (for us in The States, that is...) equated to teh family jewels ? I THINK Merl told me once, but I cannot recall !
