i saw a handheld violet laser pointer 5mw which was sold today for $300?
from the pics it looked okayish but i wudnt wanna risk $300 on sumthing thats not guaranteed to last a few weeks, let alone a few months.
but in general when proffesional laserists build theyr own handheld violet pointers - is ther any advantages other than the total price?
visibility-wise what r these like?

Oh, by the way... when I sent that out it was measuring 6.3mW and I have a 25mW one that I am keeping for myself (measured 24.5mw) 25mW of BluRay is HOT!! ;D
