What does the specific violet color from a blu-ray diode come out as when mixed with a green laser of around the same output?

Actually, sorry. I found it on youtube after a bit. Looks a lot like turquoise. Has anyone combined pointers to make that color beam before though?

Cool, I'll probably try that soon. Phr module will be here soon, and just ordered a 80-100mw gree pen from Susie. I asked her for one putting out the highest average output and she's sending me one with a little higher than 90mw average :)

I agree - your proportions need to be correct to get the best color mix. Here's one of my GBV builds running 120mW BR and 35mW Green, you can see how the green is ever-so-slightly overpowering... You'll notice it less when you are running patterns, etc but it really matters with straight beams, even at this proportion the combined colors appear almost straight green in a single beam>

I found that even a 120mW PHR could not match up well to a 5mW o-like green to the eye (But it was putting out 10-20mW), however since digital cameras treat blu-ray as very bright it is hard to get a good picture.

Also keep in mind that green is essentially 1mm thick and a PHR will be 4-5mm thick so at close range you will see the green floating in the blue.  If you want a picture of most of the colors you can produce with green and violet just click my signature, there are pictures of green+red, red+violet and green+violet.

Yeah, if you look at a lot of the mixes in that picture, you can pick out some colors such as seagreen, turquoise and teal, depending on how close the colors are together. Pretty sweet.
