This is the lens from the projector? You say the 445nm @ 1W is smoking these things? Just want to clarify. I haven't heard of the 445nm @ 1W smoking the stock projector lens but I have hears of the 445nm @ 1W smoking the Aixiz plastic lens. Actually, I don't even think it was smoking the Aixiz lens, just the "can" on the closed can models. I just wanted to clarify this sorry if I'm mistaken...

yes, oh I thought the lens from the projector was acrylic?

what is the projector lens . . ?

so the blue tinged lens I got with the AixiZ module? Is that acrylic?

The stock Casio lens is glass and as Jayrob has said not to good for what most of us want to do.
The stock lens from the AixiZ( btw pronounced 'ache - ziss' not axis) blank module is acrylic. I asked Chuck if his 'surprize' for us was going to be a blank module w/ 445 glass lens deal and he said 'no-- but that is a good idea Len'

he told me what the surprize will be.

but right now I can't remember......
