It means it was sent via a non trackable method. The "tracking" number is really just a proof of mailing number.

Why does it seem USPS in my area is pretty reliable? 
I know what you mean though, my mother is a clerk and I've met some of the mail carriers... some of them are out there to do their job, some are lazy and/or rude, and the rest are trying to make as much money as they can doing as little as possible.

Yeah, it is off and on. I thought about calling up there and asking how much average salary was so I could get an idea as to why my mailman didn't feel it worth his time to do his job. But then I thought "be cool Isaac, nobody likes an asshat"

A city maybe an hour away from me might end up having all of its employees replaced... that office is horrible. Somebody recently got fired for buying/selling drugs on the job :wtf:
