im going to reduce this to 10 posts. i think you are right on, styropyro. now that i added the image verfication and email verification spamming has been reduced even more. the main purpose of the post limit is to prevent human users (not bots) from spamming.

i think 10 posts is a fair number.

i will get this change done tonight before i do backups. i will also be changing the error message to tell members that you need 10 posts before posting a link. the old error message was too vague.

It appears the 15 post limit is still in effect for PM usage, if you intended to apply the new 10 post standard to all normal forum functions.

I thought thaat 15 for a PM was a little high. I mean new user's are the ones who mostly need help and could just be needing one person's help. Like when I started my BUILD A LASER THREAD I had to ask some question's to chido about certian links he gave me.
 
i will reduce the number of posts required to send PMs to 10.
