US FDA Rules, Bad Companies, New to Lasers

I need help, I love messing around with lasers, I have several small red lasers and one 5mw Radio Shack special green laser. I really like the green lasers for several reasons. But I am in the market for a more powerful laser, I want to purchase a green laser that can light a match, pop balloons, burn tape, just all around wow the friends and have fun burning stuff. But... I dont want to spend a thousand dollars, not even five hundred, I am looking to spend around 3-$400 less if possible. I found several sites such as Deal EX and MegalasersUK but read that Megalasers are a rip off and that I wont get my monies worth, plus the products from both compaines have cheap stuff and they are both from out of the states. Plus on Deal EX they state that the FDA and customes could confiscate my laser and I may never recieve it. As well that a large laser like a 125mw to 300mw laser is illegal to purchase in the US. So what do I do? Where do I purchase a small handheld green burning laser pointer with out all the problems. Who or which company do I purchase from? Can anyone help me with this delima, Or do I need to purchase the book How to build your own burning laser for dummies and build my own? Which I dont have the skill to do. Please Help, Thank You for your time!

For 400$ You definetly need to buy a pair of Goggles, and a 120-150mW Green

For laserist start, i suggest these
Dilda is a red 200mW sold cheap for 46$ - Burn matches, pop baloon ETCS.

I have the 75mW Version, its really great. There is alot of accessories, Keyswitch,Beam Expander, Diffration Grattings, ETCS... The build Quality is genious, the crystal are beefy.

Make sure you have goggles, you only have Two eyes, the eyes arent like other body party that recovery fully.
