How radioactive are these things? I'm curious how they were produced. I'd probably buy a few if I had a black light. Would suit also suit my avatar if you had a golf ball sized one to sell.

I have a home built Geiger Counter... and the Uranium Marbles that I have don't put out much
more radiation than background radiation noise...
On the other hand... the radioactive element I removed from an old smoke detector sets the GC
off like I was at Chernobyl...

Another name for Uranium 'doped' glass, is 'vasaline glass'. You can get lots of different things made of this cool glass that glows bright under UV light. (or a blu-ray laser) Actually all lasers affect it, but a blu-ray is best!

Type in a search in e-bay for vasaline glass...

This should help give you an idea - mine are the crackled type and give a pretty good reading on the meter. Nowhere near enough to cause harm though, as my geiger counter is pretty sensitive.
