!!Updated prices: New Kryton Groove FS Thread!!

Re: New Kryton Groove FS Thread!!

Yeah Ive heard that from a few people. ;) To be honest though pressing is really not that hard and the improved thermal conductivity from a one piece finned heatsink is IMO worth it. To press all you need is a vice and a press tool from eg Flaminpyro. At a pinch though you can use eg a piece of radio antenna for the smaller diodes, just make sure it goes in straight thats basically it. The proper tools are safer though.;)

I will however look into getting a few drilled out to accept 12 mm modules.

Re: New Kryton Groove FS Thread!!

If you do, pm me!As a matter of fact, if you do figure out how much drilled would cost, I would want mine with the factory anodising left as is on the outside, with the contact anodising removed, the contact areas buffed with a brass brush bit, the tail cap assembly installed and tested , contact board installed with spring and leads attached. Drop in DTR module with driver and Bob's your uncle kinda thing! YOu get this going and I am instant sale!!! Just Pm with price and ppal info!

Re: New Kryton Groove FS Thread!!

Here are a few pics of some lasers for sale :) They are all 3 W and come with the G9 lens, these are mixed with alternating blue and cyan GITD.

Looks like the cyan GITD is a bit brighter than the blue. Is it possible to see the two contrasted a little closer up?
