I don't get why people buy cheap shit like this. Most of your money will be spent on the batteries, so why damage them with a cheap-ass "all-purpose" charger that will probably over-charge them? It's like people buying cheapo soldering equipment only to ruin their projects and expensive laser diodes because they were penny-wise and pound foolish.
I've burned out many sets of batteries because of buying crappy chargers, even ones supposedly made for the batteries. They overheat the batteries, over-charge them, shorten the lifespan. All for what? To save a few bucks?
It doesn't matter if there's a switch on the back. It probably just selects between diodes to drop voltages, but doesn't change the charging profile.
